Bluebeam Revu 2017 and 2016 on same PC

For current owners of Bluebeam Revu 2016 who would like to evaluate Revu 2017 with a free 30-day trial.  You can have Bluebeam Revu 2017 and 2016 installed on same PC.

  • During installation of Revu 2017 the Previous Version Detected dialog box will be displayed (see image below).
  • Only click Upgrade Previous Version if you have upgraded your Revu license to Revu 2017 and have your new Bluebeam Software License Certificate. That license certificate holds your Serial Number and Product Key.
  • Click Maintain Previous Version if you haven’t upgraded and are installing Revu 2017 as a trial to evaluate the new features before purchasing.
  • Click Next after deciding whether you want to Upgrade or Maintain the previous version.

Note: And this is super-important to know, both options will migrate your existing Revu settings to the newly installed version.  That’s right, all setting from Revu 2016 will automagically be there in version 2017.

PS: And lastly, Nothing in this post applies to Revu Mac.
