Bluebeam Revu and Windows 10

We’ve heard reports of sluggish performance when using Revu and Windows 10 with multi-sheet PDF files.  It’s too early to call this a widespread issue, but we’re definitely keeping an eye on it.

The question has been asked often in the last month.  Is Bluebeam Revu supported on Windows 10?  And, supported or not, will Bluebeam Revu 12 and 2015 run on Windows 10?

Supported?  The official answer is no.  Revu 2016, which is expected in Q1 2016, will be the first version of Revu to support Windows 10. At the moment, Revu 2015.x only officially supports Windows 7 and 8.  Will Revu run on Windows 10 though?  We’ve found that it will.

From a timing standpoint, if past release dates are an indication, we’re mid-way through a Revu Release cycle with new major releases of Revu introduced in February/March of most years.  And although we have no inside knowledge (really…….we don’t), we wouldn’t be surprised to see an update to Revu addressing this issue (and that’s if this turns out to be widespread issue).  Will we see a 2015.6 update?  Time will tell.

UPDATE: Revu version 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 all fully support Windows 10
