Bluebeam Webinar Series by Orange Blade Consultants
What's New in Revu 2018 presented by Orange Blade Consultants
We promised, so here it is. The recorded session of our April 12, 2018 webinar “New Features in Bluebeam Revu 2018“.
Keeping in line with what we’ve been saying lately, “Less is more”, as in less clutter on the surface of Revu means more power below the surface. A new interface introduced so you can do more and keep your screen real estate maximized. Oh, and then there is the whole Keyboard Shortcut thing. For the record, Keyboard Shortcuts have been a popular Wish list item for a while now. So, for everyone who clicked the “Make a Suggestion” button in Bluebeam Revu and sent an email asking (begging) for Keyboard Shortcuts…..well, you can stop doing that. You’ve been heard loud and clear.
View Mode and Markup Mode in Bluebeam Revu 2018
There are now two users modes in Revu 2018 – View mode and markup mode. Using View Mode and Markup Mode in Bluebeam Revu meets the needs of those who only need to view as well as for those who need to markup and use the full suite of Features of Revu. https://bit.ly/2Il9TmU
View mode – you cab use Measurement tools, join Studio Sessions, and view documents. While in View Mode, you can also use MultiView, MultiView Extended, Presentation mode and Profiles. Open License users will find View mode particularly helpful (more on this below). While participating in a Studio Session, View mode allows you to markup with measurements, comments and markups. Markup mode allows full access to the Revu features available with your edition. You can switch between the two modes from the Revu menu.

Demystifying Sets in Bluebeam Revu
From our December 14, 2017 Webinar "Demystifying Sets in Bluebeam Revu by Orange Blade Consultants" By definition, sets allow you to open a collection of documents in a single view with the pages organized in a specific order, including any revisions. You’ll navigate through multiple files as though they were one document without needing to merging them into a single file. Additionally, files that normally cannot be combined due to PDF security or digital signatures can be viewed as a cohesive collection. Maybe you already know about sets, but have been afraid to use them? Perhaps you have used sets in the past, but weren’t sure you were doing it right. The concept of sets and best practices will be discussed, you are in the right place.
