Recent Files Window is blank in Bluebeam Revu 2015 or 2016
If your Recent Files Tab Window is blank in Bluebeam Revu 2015 or 2016 (or 2017), there are 2 likely fixes. This applies to the Windows version of Bluebeam Revu.
First, check in Preferences, under File Access. Make sure that “Enable Recent Files” is checked. If it isn’t turned it on by checking the box, the click OK. Then check to see if recent files now show in the Recent Files Window.

If you see that “Enable File Access” is turned on but the window is still empty, it’s likely that the RdbRecentFiles.dat has become corrupt. This is a quick and easy fix.
- Close Bluebeam Revu
- In Windows 7, click Start and type %Appdata% in the search box, and press Enter. In Windows 8 and Windows 10 click or tap Start (the Windows icon in the lower-right of your screen) and type %Appdata%. This will open the Appdata\Roaming folder located under your user account (profile).
- Now go to Bluebeam Software\Revu\16 and delete the RdbRecentFiles.dat file. If you’re using Bluebeam Revu 2015 goto Bluebeam Software\Revu\15 and delete the RdbRecentFiles.dat file
- Close the folder and reopen Revu. Your recent files window is now be populated with files that you’ve recently opened. – Boom!
